Cover Lift - Do I Need One?
The correct cover lift can be a great addition to your spa and cover. There are many to choose from and we will look at a few options. But first, do you need a lift? The answer is probably yes. The main purpose of the lift is to assist you in removing your cover. Over time your spa cover will become heavier as the foam begins to absorb water. There is no way to 100% prevent this process but you can slow it down. During your weekly spa maintenance your cover should be open. While it is open, unzip your cover to let air flow through. This will also let any excess water build up drain. Even a properly maintained cover can benefit from having a lift.
